It's been one of those days!

Days like today I just have to remember why it is I became a mother and remember how blessed I am to have my two boys! Our days starts off bright and early with Jack waking up between 5-6 in the morning and not going back to sleep. He is then sooooo tired by 9 but he refuses to go to sleep.....so he cries and throws a fit because he is tired! What I can't understand is why he doesn't sleep......I would LOVE to be able to sleep as much as I let him sleep! So Jack has been crying because he is tired. Now Samuel decided he didn't want to eat what I gave him for breakfast so he kept crying and throwing a temper tantrum. He kept asking me "mom I want something" which is his words for I'm hungry. I made him wait until lunch to eat and when it was time to eat he only eats his hot dog and cheese and doesn't touch his carrots or strawberries but then he asks for more hot dog. Which I then try to explain to him to be able to have more hot dog he needed to try the other food on his plate.....he wouldn't have anything to do with that so once again he threw a tantrum about it. Luckily they have both calmed down and are down for a nap.

I sure do love my boys and I am truly blessed to be able to be their mother. They are a wonderful blessing from our Father in Heaven and I am truly grateful for each day I have with them. Being a parent is wonderful but it is also full of many hard and trying times but I wouldn't change it for anything! Samuel and Jack have taught me more things than I could ever teach them......I believe that we chose them and they chose us to be their parents. Here are some pictures from a trip to the park and the farm last week. They both LOVE being outside......we are so excited for spring!

I agree! Beautiful pictures Heather!! I remember the days that we used to spend at the parks. I need to do that more often.

Your words are wise beyond your years. Being patient is something we have to choose. You do it very well. What a cute mom you are to your little boys.

I love your new blog background.
Your pictures look awesome. I am lucky to get a few good shots here and there but do not have much photography skill!
