Some more funny and interesting things about the kids!

I was asking Sam what he wanted to do one day and he tells me.....I don't want to do anything because I am just so ridiculous!

Samuel and Jack were fighting.....Jack tells me to put Sam in time out. So he goes over to their play kitchen and starts pushing buttons on the microwave to set the timer and says you go to time out for three minutes. He has seen us several times go to the microwave and set the timer!

I called Ava, Ava bo bava one day and Sam asks me....why did you call her that....that's not her name.....her name is Ava Lynne Romney!

Samuel started talking about our old house....he tells me I don't want Ken and Jacquelines house......I want my old house without stairs. I asked him why he wanted his old house and he tells me because we belong there!

Jack was sitting at his table.....he yells out my butt is stuck!

Jack was talking to Ava when he heard Samuel playing with their train. He turns to Ava and says....Ava you want to ride on the polar express with me?!

Jack was crying because Samuel had one of his horses......so Sam throws it to Jack and says.....WHATEVER Jack!!

Jack comes up to me and tells me....Ava was in your tummy....Samuel then turns to me and says.....I don't want any more babies....I just want a dog and a kitty cat. I then asked him if he loved Ava and he says to me "yeah I love Ava.....I don't want her to go back in your tummy.....I just don't want any more babies!!

Jake was putting Jack in his car seat when he started yelling "my freakin back" He said this several times. It is hard not to laugh but at the same time I feel so bad that he has picked up my bad habits!

We were taking a drive by the temple and Samuel tells us "I want to go inside the temple to see Heavenly Father. I want to give him a hug and a kiss and I want to sit on his lap." Then he goes on to say that he wants Heavenly Father to read to him and play hide and see in the temple. Hearing Sam talk about his Father in Heaven holding him on his lap is one of the sweetest things I have heard.

Samuel said the closing prayer for the first time in primary on Sunday March 15th 2009. I wasn't able to be there due to Ava being sick but Jake helped him and Samuel was so proud that he said the prayer. He then came home to tell me that he said the closing pray and that the primary sang happy birthday to him and gave him a candy bar because it was almost his birthday.

Samuel got a castle for his birthday and was playing with it and takes one of his knights and says....."come on knight you need to save the princess"

Jack asks me one day....will you play baskethoop ball with me?? That is how he says basketball.

We were driving and it was starting to get dark....Sam says I can't see, there is fug in my way....he calls fog, fug....it sounds so funny to hear him say fog like that....it just doesn't sound right!

I noticed on Saturday March 28th 2009 that Ava was getting two teeth....one on the lower left side and the other on the far left side, I think the canine tooth......it is hard to believe that she is old enough to be getting teeth.

Precious Ava!

What more can I say?! This girl is so precious.....we just love having a little girl and I mean WE....Jake just LOVES having a daughter and always tells me how cute and beautiful she is!

Here we come Vernal!

Well it's official....we are moving to Vernal, Utah!! Jake's company got a job out there building something for Utah State. His company told us if they got the job out there they would buy a house for us to live in while we are there for the next year and a half to two years! It seemed to work out perfectly since we sold our house in murray and we were waiting on a short sale home in syracuse.

We actually were a week away from closing on the house in syracuse when we prayed about things and felt we shouldn't buy the house. We decided to wait and see what happened with the Vernal job. We put our trust and faith in the Lord and knew that no matter what happened we would be alright. I must say it has been very difficult for us waiting for the the house in syracuse and for the vernal job. We have been waiting for six months and now that we actually have some direction on where we are going I feel sooooo much better! It will be hard to move three hours away from our family and friends but at least it's not forever and the best part about it we get to live rent and mortgage free for the next year or two.....how great is that?! We also feel so blessed that Jake still has a job as the economy is so tough right now and several of our family and friends have lost their jobs. Our hearts and prayers go out to those that have lost their jobs.....we will keep you in our prayers.

It will be interesting to see how Vernal goes......Jake is excited to get out and do outdoors stuff......I am a little sad to be away from family and friends and from the city. I just need to look at Vernal as a new adventure in our lives. We will probably be moving in the next month or so.....as soon as we find a house out there. Wish us luck as we move out to Vernal for the next year or two!!

Three beautiful kids!

I had put Ava down on the floor for a minute and the boys decided to bring a blanket and lie down next to her. The boys sure love their sister and their sister sure loves them!

Having fun outside!

These were taken last week when we had good weather. We decided to go outside and ride our bikes. Jake and Samuel decided to show me their new trick, which I don't approve of!! I must say that Sam sure does love his daddy and I know his daddy loves him!

Jack wearing daddy's glasses!

I am almost positive that our kids will have to get glasses at some point because both Jake and I wear contacts. Jack decided to show us what he would look like with glasses so he grabbed Jake's glasses off the nightstand and posed for a couple pictures! I decided I needed to hurry and take a picture before he bent the frames, which he already has done to both of our glasses!

We have fish in our bath tub!

I just had to share these pictures of the boys taking a bath last week. Both of them were pretending to be fish! Life in never dull with kids around!

Samuel at Four!

I wanted to take some pictures of Samuel for his fourth birthday so we headed to wheeler farm. I did not get to take very many due to Sam not wanting to cooperate and everyone else was getting impatient. I was able to get a few good ones of Samuel before everyone broke down. We sure love this kid.....he is our big four year old!

Samuel's stats at four years old: 36lbs 60z 50%
39.5 inches tall 25%

I just have to add that I am loving my Nikon D80 that my sweet husband got for more a year ago. I think he got it for me in hopes that I would put it to good use and make money with it! I am not making the money part but I am defiantly putting it to good use taking pictures of our little family! Thanks again honey for the camera.....it is the best gift you have ever gotten me.....except for our three little ones!

Happy Birthday Samuel!

Today our first born turned four years old! My how you have changed in the past four years! It is hard for me to believe that four year ago today I went into labor unexpectedly four weeks early and had to have an emergency c-section due to you being a footling breech. I remember being in the hospital nervous but also very excited to meet our little guy. I remember holding my little man for the first time and was filled with an overwhelming amount of love for him. My love for you Samuel grows more everyday! You are truly a miracle and a blessing to us. Your dad and I worried about you while you were in the ICU due to fluid in your lungs and irregular breathing but your dad gave you a wonderful blessing and we knew you would be just fine. It was so hard to see you struggle and be hooked up to machines but we felt so blessed and proud to be your daddy and mommy! We love you so much and feel so blessed you were sent to us. We truly have enjoyed the past four years with you Samuel Jacob Romney! We can't wait to see what the next four years brings! We sure had fun with you at the zoo today! Happy fourth Birthday Sam!

Love your daddy and mommy

What do we do with you Jack?!

I guess we love him....that's what we do!! I came downstairs to find this.......I looked at Jack and he thought I was going to get upset with him because he immediately looks right at me and says " look mom I made a fence!" He built a fence with his string that goes to his lace and trace cards and was pretending to be a baby horse. He wanted me to play with him and be a mommy horse. So I got down on the floor to play with him. I know when this kid is up to something because he is unusually quiet. I sure do love this kid....he keeps us on our toes!

A day at the farm!

Yesterday was so beautiful and like everyone else, we have been so tired of winter and ready for the warmer weather so we headed off to wheeler farm to see the animals and feed the ducks. The farm is one of the many things we miss about living in murray. Everyone had a great time, even Ava who slept almost the entire time.
